Portrait photographer Bob Harvey-Jenner is not just a photographer. He wants the experience of a session with him to leave his clients feeling like they've discovered or re-discovered what makes them unique, and to have the tangible results in images which speak heart to heart from subject to viewer. Of course, if that's reflected in your profile portrait your 'hello' will be as vital and warm as it would be if we were meeting face to face.
Although I'm not into the technical side of photography, Bob treats his family of cameras and the special jobs each one has as if they were his children!
We recently spent a day together to put each other under each other's lenses. I was looking under the skin to find the exact words to reflect Bob and his business for his new website, and Bob got familiar with my skin (and laughter lines!) to reflect the brand' and persona of Wild Poplars.
Wild Poplars is my about-to-be-birthed sibling enterprise to Darcy Jones & Associates. It's for individuals rather than businesses and will be a special place to enrich live connection through dance, sound and self-development - apart from being the home for all my creative output.
Bob's portraits will be gracing my Wild Poplars' online home as soon as the new site is finished - I'm currently going through Nora Zimerman's The Website School so the design will be spot on. A few of Bob's stunning portraits accompanying this post give you a foretaste of what's to come!
Although Bob's new website is also waiting in the wings, here's a link to his current site where you'll find all you need to know and a much wider gallery.
Welcome to our team of co-creators Bob!
